Internships - Assistant Grower, Dairy Farmer (Horticulture and Livestock Internships) - Germany

Good Morning,
We are providing horticulture and livestock internships in Germany.

Internships are available for a duration of six months in different areas of the agriculture / farming business. All positions are paid 670 Euros with  free housing and food. Applicants must be enrolled as students throughout their internship. They need to have finished at least 4 semesters when starting the internship. Basic knowledge of English or German is required.

We will provide the 'Internship Approval' issued by the German Federal Employment Agency ZAV (Zentralstelle fΓΌr Arbeitsvermittlung) in order for the student to pick up the visa at the German Embassy.

A complete application will include:
- Resume
- Certificate of enrolment showing start and end date of study and including a note that the internship is mandatory
- Copy of passport

Fees to be paid after the German Federal Employment Agency ZAV issues 'Internship Approval’:
550 Euros - program fee
150-200 Euros - insurance fee for 6 months paid online to German insurance company.
60 Euros - for visa

Assistant Grower - Intern
A Fresh Flower producer in Berlin is looking for a student or graduate studying Horticulture / Floriculture / Agriculture. You will work with the grower to daily ensure that all of the crop needs are supplied to ensure the highest gross margin/square foot per crop. The qualified student has to do a lot of equipment monitoring, chemical usage and fertilizer calculations. He/she has to ensure that crop standards are meaningful and met. He/she should have attention to detail and work well in a diverse team environment. Basic knowledge of English or German is required. 670 Euros per month, free accommodations, free food. Start: May/June/July 2015 for 6 months.

Dairy Farm - Intern
A Dairy/Cattle Farm located close to Frankfurt has an open position for a student interested in learning about dairy and raising cattle. The intern can learn about: milking equipment and procedures, breeding including artificial insemination, taking care of calves. Livestock experience and a background in agriculture is required. The intern must be reliable, innovative and team-oriented with a positive work attitude. Basic knowledge of English or German is required.  670 Euros per month, free accommodations and meals. Start: May/June/July 2015 for 6 months.
