Invoicing/Accounts Receivable/Credit Specialist

Background: Northwest Hardwoods is a world-class, integrated, global supplier of wood products to the furniture, cabinet, molding and millwork industries. We serve the industrial market segment worldwide. We are searching for a candidate who is a team player and who also enjoys a challenge.
This position will follow a flow-to-work concept between supporting the processes of Invoicing, Accounts Receivable and Credit. This team interacts daily with Third Party Customers, Warehouse/Mill Key contacts, Sales Team, Transportation, Accounting and other outside contacts.
Key Functions: Responsible for daily invoicing, fax log, claims management/tracking, order file, cash application, bank deposit, collection calls, incoming calls, sales tax exemption certificates/tracking, reviewing and creating credit files. Working directly with the Sales team, taking a proactive approach regarding new accounts, over limits, collections issues. Provide flow to work back up for credit team. Maintain a positive relationship with internal and external customers.
Requirements: Team Player, strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to learn and adapt to a changing team based work environment. Organizational skills which include managing multiple priorities, attention to detail, working well under pressure, meeting assigned deadlines, learn in a changing environment and solid work ethics. Computer and Software System skills required.
