Puget Sound Energy’s Information Technology Department is looking for an Administrative Specialist to join our team!

This position will perform tasks identified below and similar:
* Basic data gathering and data entry
* Retrieves and prepares reports from various computer applications
* Research in support of management
* Manages calendars, coordinates travel arrangements, and composes correspondence
* Completes time sheets
* Prepares draft correspondence, emails, meeting materials, and minutes
* Works independently and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Organizes departmental meetings and functions, including catering, group e-mail invitation lists and venue reservations
* Performs other duties as assigned


This person must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, meet deadlines, use independent and discretionary judgment, and coordinate tasks and assignments simultaneously, as well as interact at the Officer level with professionalism. They will need to use various computer applications to create charts, correspondence, reports and other work as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School education or equivalent
* Extensive experience using word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
* Previous administrative support experience


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience working in a utility
* Experience using SAP
* Superior attention to detail
* Advanced organizational/multi-tasking skills
* Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
* Strong written/verbal skills
* Experience with MSFT SharePoint
