Office Coordinator Needed Peace Lutheran Church and Peace Community Center in Tacoma are seeking a shared Office Coordinator who plays a critical backbone role in all we do. This position is responsible for receptionist duties; facility use, upkeep and technology support; Peace Lutheran publicity and communication materials; Peace Lutheran ministry support including members database upkeep, worship ministry, emergency assistance, etc. Strong candidates will have at least two years of office coordination experience, the ability to engage a wide variety of people, will be a self starter who is self directed and flexible, highly organized, focused and have a commitment to the rich diversity of the Hilltop community. Middle School Program Director: This position will lead Peace CC's Hilltop Scholars - Middle School Phase, helping Hilltop middle school students to reach their full potential. This program is a vital piece of the Center's services to Hilltop students elementary through college and their families. The main responsibilities include strengthening school-year academic supports for students, collaborate with Jason Lee MS administration to lead the summer learning portion of our programming, strength grade level cohorts, and help us to strengthen our program through evaluation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about every student succeeding academically and holistically, someone who is great with diverse students and has experience teaching whether in the school or out of school settings, we would love someone who has program management experience, and who is passionate about collaborating and learning with a great group of Center staff members and community partners.
