The Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards funding for one academic year of self-designed study, academic research, creative projects, or teaching English in one of over 140 countries around the world. The program is sponsored by the Department of State. As you may’ve heard, UW Tacoma alumna Lizeth Garcia is an Alternate for the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Program to Mexico this year.
Eligibility
Eligible students are US Citizens who will have a bachelor’s degree before the start of the grant (Fall 2016). Graduates and graduate students are also eligible to apply.
Deadline
UW Tacoma’s campus deadline is September 9, 2015.
