Tomorrow the City of Tacoma’s Office of Environmental Policy and Sustainability will join UW Tacoma: On the go! for an Earth Day celebration at the University of Washington, Tacoma.
When: 4/22, 12:30-2:00pm
Where: UWT Campus, where the Prairie Line Trail meets the Grand Staircase (S. 19th St.)
Earth Day festivities will include a rally and march around campus, a tricycle race, and a brief talk by Ron Sims (Chair of the Washington Health Benefit Exchange Board and champion for active transportation).
Look for the Office of Environmental Policy and Sustainability’s table alongside UW Tacoma: on the Go!, Pierce Transit, and the Puyallup Watershed Initiative’s Active Transportation COI.
