UWT’s Office of International Programs and School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences has partnered with Seattle Colleges to offer new internship abroad opportunities. Students will be traveling to an underdeveloped country in early fall 2015 to devote their time and expertise to help local communities educate individuals on healthy hygienic practices and do other volunteer work such as installing clean wood burning stoves. This year, students have two destinations to choose from: Peru and Vietnam (and India, if we get enough applicants—currently it’s under-enrolled and in danger of cancellation). Each program has its own unique focus. Eligible for TESC496 Internship credit for fall 2015!
