If so, Parametrix, a premier NW engineering, planning and environmental sciences consulting firm, is seeking a full-time HELP DESK/COMPUTER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN to join our corporate IT Division and provide company-wide support from our Puyallup, WA (or Seattle if candidate prefers) office location.
The Help Desk Support Technician provides remote technical support with an emphasis on hardware, connectivity, and application issues. The successful candidate must have exceptional customer service; written and verbal communication; presentation; and interpersonal skills. Must also possess problem solving skills, excellent understanding of desktop operating systems, networking principles and MS applications. The position is responsible for documenting and tracking status of client inquiries, coordinating appropriate response and follows up to ensure client satisfaction. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years help desk experience diagnosing and resolving technical problems with both software and hardware.
