Residential Care Services Division is looking for someone who is innovative, culturally competent with leadership skills to fill a temporary Regulatory Quality Assurance Nurse
Program Manager (RQANPM) position in Lacey, WA.  This Non-Permanent opportunity is expected to last twelve (12) months.  This position could potentially move into a permanent position in the future.
DUTIES:
As the Regulatory Quality Assurance Nurse Program Manager you will:
• Ensure that RCS nursing home staff, including complaint investigators, consistently complies with  federal regulatory  requirements;
• Serve as the primary technical quality control expert on inspection, survey, and complaint investigation practices;
• Have statewide responsibilities;
• Plan, manage and supervise comprehensive oversight initiatives for quality improvement;
• Train and prepare new staff to become consistent and proficient in survey activities;
• Consult and coordinate quality management strategies, training resources, and project outcomes/information with internal and external customers;
• Provide ongoing support related to changes, updates and to ensure consistent statewide application and implementation of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
QUALIFICATIONS:
What We Are Looking For:
We are interested in someone who has a solid background in professionalism, leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication and recognizes that the long-term care resident/client is the primary customer of this organization.  We’d like someone that will promote, build and improve our processes focusing on quality care for our long term care residents.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in nursing and a minimum of two years’ experience in the field of long-term care services for vulnerable adults but we will consider a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a minimum of five years’ experience in the field of long-term care services for vulnerable adults.  The work experience required is work done after obtaining the degree.  Survey Minimum Qualification Test (SMQT) and Quality Indicator Survey (QIS) certified are preferred.
