Hot lunch program providing nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment for all those in need.
Position
Description:
The key spokesperson for Feed the Hungry program including fund raising and conducting community based presentations. Manage the day to day operation of the program and supervision of volunteers and one program site monitor. Act as a Liaison with community partners and CCS Family Center Staff. Maintain detailed computer records and statistics.

Functions: * Manages the Day to Day Operations of Feed the Hungry Program. * Manages Supply Inventory. * Volunteer Management. * Promotes Feed the Hungry Program. * Ensures Safety and Security. * Promotes Positive Community Relations. * Coordinates Efforts with Family Center Staff.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: * AA in Social Services or related field or at least one year of work experience. * Two years’ experience in a social service environment providing services to identify needs of perspective clients. * Experience in recruiting, training and supervising volunteers. * Experience in working with diverse cultures and racial groups. * Strong organizational skills. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Strong computer skills including skills in Access, Excel, MS Word, and an interest in learning other software programs. * The ability to work with a diverse group of people. * Applicant must successfully pass required background checks prior to an offer of employment. * Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and provide current auto registration. * Must have an acceptable driving record per CCS’ driving policy, (required to provide current driving abstract) * Proof of negative TB test upon hire or proof of test within past 12 months. * Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services * Support and contribute to a creative, collaborative and respectful environment that promotes teamwork * Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations. * Ability to work some weekends and evenings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: * BA in Social Services or related field. * Food Industry experience. * Knowledge of nutrition guidelines. * Experience making good use of limited food supplies. * Experience with grant writing or fund development
