College students and college graduates are needed during the school year to tutor AVID junior high and high school students at various school locations throughout the District. Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) is a college preparatory accelerated academic program designed to provide academic instruction and support to prepare students for college. No experience required. Paid training and materials are provided. Hours will range a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 6 hours, twice a week. There are opportunities for extra hours as well.
