The Regional Managers will plan, manage and review the work that is done in and around the Housing Management Division properties in their designated regions, ensuring that KCHA’s high standards are upheld. - Defines, communicates and implements strategic vision.
- Manages activities and associated workflows with an eye on efficiently reaching goals and objectives, while evaluating and modifying operations as needed for increased effectiveness.
- Develops budgets for the assigned region, tracking revenues and expenditures, and ensuring consistent alignment with budgetary expectations.
- Reviews property staffing, budgets, and operational reporting.
- Works with and through others to ensure region-wide compliance with federal and local regulations.
- Presents meaningful information in a compelling way as a public speaker to staff, leadership, officials and others.
- Provides ongoing training to staff.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success as a hands-on leader that brings out the best in others
- Seasoned experience working directly with under-served populations
- Experience in a high performing affordable housing organization
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and a proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills, especially when it comes to communicating with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds
