Multiple Regional Managers (KCHA)

SALARY RANGE: $76,440 to $102,232 Annually
POSITION LOCATIONS: Tukwila and Bellevue, Washington

We are a mission-focused organization seeking two strong and seasoned leaders with knowledge and experience in the operation of quality affordable housing and demonstrated skill in inspiring others, to fill two key roles: our Southwest Regional Manager based in Tukwila and our Northeast Regional Manager based in Bellevue.

The Positions 
The Regional Managers will plan, manage and review the work that is done in and around the Housing Management Division properties in their designated regions, ensuring that KCHA’s high standards are upheld. They will support, coach and direct the Property Managers. As mentors and role models, these individuals set the bar in terms of the high caliber of service provided to our stakeholders.

The Regional Manager also:

  •  Defines, communicates and implements strategic vision. 
  •  Manages activities and associated workflows with an eye on efficiently reaching goals and objectives, while evaluating and modifying operations as needed for increased effectiveness. 
  •  Develops budgets for the assigned region, tracking revenues and expenditures, and ensuring consistent alignment with budgetary expectations. 
  • Reviews property staffing, budgets, and operational reporting. 
  • Works with and through others to ensure region-wide compliance with federal and local regulations. 
  • Presents meaningful information in a compelling way as a public speaker to staff, leadership, officials and others. 
  • Provides ongoing training to staff. 


Ideal Qualifications:

  •  Demonstrated success as a hands-on leader that brings out the best in others
  •  Seasoned experience working directly with under-served populations 
  •  Experience in a high performing affordable housing organization 
  •  Highly organized with strong project management skills and a proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously 
  •  Exceptional communication skills, especially when it comes to communicating with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds

Since its establishment in 1939, KCHA has played a key role in providing affordable housing options for residents of the metropolitan region surrounding Seattle.
