What we need:
· Lead content and engagement efforts and execution for Evening Magazine and New Day Northwest on web, social media, and mobile platforms.
· Develop new initiatives that leverage emerging technology and trends to create new storytelling opportunities and audience interactivity; specifically creating a stand-alone online product that features Local Programming content in a unique way for the digital and social audiences.
· Contribute digital audience insights to content-planning and daily execution strategy. Use Omniture, Google Analytics, Chartbeat, Bit.ly and other statistics in collaboration with Local Programming colleagues to help drive decisions and story and segment enhancements.
What you need:
· Bachelor’s degree required. Two years’ experience developing digital and social content strongly preferred.
· Prior success telling stories across various social media platforms in a compelling manner with interactivity.
· Ability to create engaging, multi-platform content that resonates with a defined target audience.
· Ability to help guide station efforts to leverage Local Programming content to create a stand-alone online product that showcases the lifestyle content created by KING 5.
· Proven ability in digital publishing, social media engagement and/or content marketing.
· Experience using web analytics, search engine optimization and social media to grow digital audiences.
· Strong organization, communication, collaboration, and multi-tasking skills.
· Project management experience desired.
