The Facilities Senior Planner position serves as a project leader in the independent formation, planning, coordination and management of major state facilities projects. It provides project management project initiation to closeout, coordinates project workflow, and is tasked to provide information to team members and others as appropriate, as well as coordination of response to facility related matters during the lease term.
This position serves as a project lead and manages key functions of the project, including providing information and guidance to DES, Real Estate Services (RES) staff and others for statewide implementation of leased facilities practices in schematic design and design development, space utilization standards, interior design standards, furnishings, ergonomic principles and practices, systems furniture criteria and Computer Aided Design (CAD) standardization and formatting using approved software.
