Description:
LOTT Clean Water Alliance's WET Science Center provides the community with a fun, hands-on opportunity to learn all about water - one of our most precious resources. The Environmental Education Assistants are responsible for performing and assisting with a variety of education tasks and interacting with visitors in the WET Science Center to facilitate learning. These positions play a key role in the education program by assisting the Education Manager with classroom presentations to school groups (5th grade and up), assisting in the exhibit gallery, leading green building and wastewater treatment plant tours, taking key messages and educational materials to community and school events, managing social media sites, and assisting and/or managing the volunteer program. These positions assist with planning, research, implementation, tracking, and evaluation of a variety of education activities.
