Cambia Health - Provider Service Specialist - Tacoma, WA

This position is scheduled to begin on Monday October 19, 2015.

Bring your customer service expertise to our Provider Services Call Center.

In this role you will:
• Provide information, education and assistance to providers, other healthcare professionals, or other provider representatives on recorded phone lines regarding benefits, claims and eligibility.
• Act as the primary contact between the corporation and providers. 
• Deliver a high level of customer service to all providers which is critical for retaining our customers and to the overall success of the corporation.

Key qualifications and experience: • One year customer service call center experience or one year customer service experience such as insurance, retail, banking, restaurant, hospital medical office or other experience with extensive customer service contact.
• Proficient PC skills and prior experience in a PC environment; 30 wpm keyboarding skills with 95% accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding preferred.
• High school degree or GED.

In addition, candidates must be able to:
• Apply mathematical concepts and calculations, interpret policies and procedures.
• Make decisions and exercise good judgment in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
• Demonstrate initiative in researching and resolving benefit, eligibility and claims issue.
• Work under stress and pressure and respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy and patience.
• Exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters.
