DESCRIPTION:
Children's Administration is currently recruiting for 5 dynamic, motivated, and culturally competent Forms and Records Analyst 1 with the Division of Children and Family Services.
The work locations for these positions are negotiable; they can be located anywhere within Region 2, which includes the following counties: King County, Snohomish County, Skagit County, Whatcom County, and Island County.
DUTIES:
This position is responsible for processing and handling requests for redaction of records in accordance with Administrative Policy 5.02, Administrative Policy 5.03, RCW and WAC requirements such as:
· Requests from attorneys
· Requests involving high profile cases or generating controversy in the community
Positions at this level provide assistance in all phases of manual, electronic and/or automated forms control, records management and/or records requests for redaction. Incumbents follow established guidelines and perform tasks that are routine in nature and require the use of related equipment and supplies. Decision-making authority is limited to choice of established methods or procedures and guidance is provided for new or unusual situations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education, experience, skills and abilities:
High School graduate or GED AND two years of experience in forms and/or records management
OR
An Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
· Experience with the Public Records Act
· Working knowledge of DSHS policies, procedures, rules and regulations
· Advance level of skill utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Demonstrated ability for attention to detail and good organization skills
· Ability to interact professionally with internal and/or external customers
· Ability to work in a high volume diverse and stressful environment
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and records
