Position: RECREATION ASSISTANT - ($9.61-$11.30/hr) RECREATION LEADER I - ($10.58-$12.55/hr)
Teen Late Night Program (7-10 hours per Late Night)
Locations: Auburn High School, Auburn Riverside High School
PRIMARY DUTIES Recreation Assistant: The employee is responsible for leading group activities in the
Teen Late Night program offered two Saturday nights a month and for Auburn's youth. Evening weekend work is required.
The employee must be able to follow specific lesson plans and/or program instructions. Must enjoy working with youth and be able to work well with other program staff.
Recreation Leader I: The employee is responsible for assisting in the planning and
on-site leadership in the Teen Late Night program
offered two Saturday nights a month for Auburn's youth. Evening weekend work is required.
The employee must be able to oversee, organize and lead youth ages 11-18, in a variety of arts and crafts, recreation, leadership, study skills, games and activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recreation Assistant:
• Must be at least 16 years old
• No driving required Recreation Leader I:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A current abstract of your driving record must be included with your application. You can obtain your driving record from the Department of Licensing www.dol.wa.gov
• First Aid, CPR and Food Handler's Permit must be obtained within 15 days of employment.
