PRIMARY DUTIES Recreation Assistant: The employee is responsible for assisting children ages
4-12 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts and free play in a birthday party setting and Parent’s Night Out program. Assist in set up and take down of the program.
Recreation Leader I: The employee is reponsible for leading children ages 4-12 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts and free play in a birthday party setting and Parent’s Night Out program. Lead in the set up and take down of the program.
Recreation Leader II: The employee is responsible for planning, organizing and
on site leadership of the birthday party packages and Parent’s Night Out program for children ages 4-12.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recreation Assistant: Must be at least 16 years old. Must have current First Aid
and CPR certification and pass a background check.
Recreation Leader I & II: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have current First
Aid and CPR certification and pass a background check.
Must enjoy working with youth and be able to work well with other program staff.
Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

Recreation Assistant:

They also provide continuing education and high school completion courses for those who need it for em-ployment This position is contingent on funding.
Member Duties : Coordinates with faculty in re-gards to their needs from the tutoring center. Also responsible for marketing the services offered by the Bates Tutoring Center to the Bates student body. Tracks students use of the Tutoring Center and tracks student progress. Provides tutoring to youth, adults, and ESL students in subjects from pre-GED and GED studies/Adult Basic Education through college-level Math and English required to complete job skills training programs. Responsible for rental equipment check-out to students. All AmeriCorps members at Tacoma Goodwill are required to help organize and participate in team service projects one weekend per month.

This is a critical position in the Vocational Dispute Resolution Office (VDRO). If you have strong communication skills, including exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills, you won’t want to miss this opportunity.
VDRO is the unit within the department that reviews vocational disputes in order to make recommendations to the agency’s Director about a workers’ employability or about a worker’s eligibility for vocational services.
This job serves as the lead worker responsible for all clerical functions of the VDRO. You’ll monitor workflow for timeliness and assist the manager by providing statistical data and reports and preparing Director’s letters and summaries.
You’ll learn about what the VDRO does, how they do it and why. You will work with employers, attorneys, workers, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, claim managers, and management. You will be a part of a great team where you can continue to grow and develop your skills.
Your success will be driven by your professionalism, pride in your work, attention to detail, and willingness to support the VDRO team.
What needs to be done first
Independently and efficiently process incoming disputes. Easily determine if the dispute is allowable, load them into the department’s computer system, SharePoint and assign them to a reviewer.
Submit error free documents by proofreading for grammar, spelling, and formatting.
Become a reliable, positive, enthusiastic member of the VDRO team.
Some of what you’ll do
· Support Vocational Service Specialists by providing information on whether a dispute was accepted or rejected, the status of a dispute, and giving VDRO contact information.
· Update and implement the Office Assistant Lead manual.
· Keep a dispute tracking sheet up-to-date at all times. Assign and track new disputes and reconsiderations.
· Provide support for the VDRO supervisor and assist with scheduling meetings when necessary. Take notes for the VDRO team meetings that occur bi-weekly.
· Verify data, proofread summaries for proper format, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and clarity.
· Compile monthly and quarterly reports and related statistical reports.
Develops new statistical reports/spreadsheets as the need arises.

Exceptional customer service skills and a proven ability to handle difficult situations.

Team player and team builder. Able to coordinate with others, share information, make decisions, arrange for services and or implement solutions to problems or complaints.

The Washington State Department of Health is searching for an innovative and collaborative leader to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary for Administrative Operations, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves in a leadership role providing strategic and operational support to the agency. S/he provides overall financial leadership to the agency and executive team and serve as the agency strategic financial expert. The CFO partners with the agency executive team on budget management, fee and cost analysis, forecasting, and the securing of new funding. S/he provides leadership to the Office of Financial Services and has primary day-to-day responsibility for accounting, grants, finance, revenue, contracts, purchasing, facilities management, and fiscal monitoring.
The CFO works with the agency executive team to oversee an agency biennial budget of $500 million dollars, this includes federal, state, and fee funding. In addition, the CFO is directly responsible for a biennial budget of over $11 million and has overall management responsibility for six (6) direct reports, who are responsible for approximately 73 staff.
The CFO will be blazing new trails for the State of Washington as we work to deliver new options for public health system funding.
