HVAC JOURNEYMAN MAINTENANCE TECH: Performs the repair
and servicing of all Tribal Government buildings and facilities as directed
with an emphasis on our HVAC systems. Education/Experience: Must have HVAC certification with at least 2
(two) years directly HVAC experience. High School diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver’s license with
verifiable insurance. Prefer experience
with American Indian/Alaska Native communities.
EDUCATIONPROGRAM
ASSISTANT:
Works with school districts, students, and parents to assist in enhancing
education opportunities and community youth.
Assists parents of K-12 students with identification of student needs
and coordination of service delivery with local school districts. Tutors K-12
students on a daily basis. Provides staffing of the After-School Program and
supervises youth involved in the program.
Participates in outreach activities, recognition/incentive programs and
activities, and assists with tribal graduation dinner. EDUCATION/EXPERIEINCE: Associates degree and/or two years
working with children in a school setting with progressive responsibility. Equivalent combination of training and
experience may be substituted for education.
TRANSPORTATION
PLANNER:
Organizes and
coordinates the Tribe’s transportation planning function including road
construction and maintenance, public transit and pedestrian walkways. Represents the Tribe in various
intergovernmental activities related to transportation planning such as at
local, count, state and federal agencies, various boards and commissions and
before community members in public meetings and hearings. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s
degree. At least (5) five years of
successful work experience in transportation planning and at least 2 (two)
years’ experience researching and preparing plans and assessments.
HEADSTART ASSISTANT COOK: (Part time) Assists the Head Cook in
planning, preparing, and serving meals for the childcare program. Assists with clean-up, purchasing, and other
related duties. Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED. Must have basic knowledge of nutrition, food
preparation, and sanitation. Must have a current food handler’s card.
HEADSTART TEACHER AIDES, CHILDCARE AIDES, COOKS, AND JANITORS: (on-call)
The Head Start program is always accepting
applications for aides, cooks, and janitors.
This entails a variety of duties to include working in the classroom
with the teachers, cleaning classrooms. This also includes helping the Head
Start cooks with meal preparation, serving children meals, doing dishes and
other duties as needed. There is no set
schedule and will be based on need. A
wide range of availability is a necessity. Must have a basis knowledge of food
preparation and sanitation. Must have
basic knowledge about cleaning techniques and cleaning chemicals. Must be able
to work independently with little to no supervision. Must be able to lift on a regular basis
50lbs. and on occasions maneuver objects weighing up to 100lbs. EDUCATION/EXPERIEINCE: High
school diploma or GED equivalent.
