In this role you will:

Job Responsibilities
• Implements the company communications and engagement experience work plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Direct experience in marketing communications with residential, commercial, industrial and/or institutional customers within a corporate and/or advertising agency environment

Puget Sound Energy’s Customer Access Center is looking for multiple Temporary Customer Service Seasonal Workers to join our team! These positions perform a variety of basic clerical and phone functions in our call center to support the company’s high call volumes. You will answer basic customer calls and respond to inquiries via mail, web and by phone.
Prepare and/or process paperwork as needed. Shifts may include some Saturdays and/or Sundays.

The Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) vision: Seniors and people with disabilities living with good health, independence, dignity, and control over the decisions that affect their lives.
The Department of Social and Health Services, Home and Community Services Division (HCS),
Central Processing and Client Support Unit is on the lookout for one highly driven and devoted Customer Service Specialist who enjoys providing outstanding service to our clients, families, community members and stakeholders for our Lacey office.
DUTIES:
Role in our Organization:
As a Customer Service Specialist you are responsible for providing customer service, support and assistance, and problem resolution to clients/customers and agency staff for statewide HCS offices; for acting as a liaison between clients/customers, providers and the agency in regards to the manual and electronic processing of financial documents for both internal and external customers; for handling multiple documents that will determine DSHS program eligibility and for maintaining the front office with the most up to date information on the agency’s laws, regulations and processes to assist client/customers in obtaining services or the information they need. You are responsible for the receipt and disposition of warrants, cash and/or personal checks to the correct agency and/or client.
Although each day is different, the following duties encompass the normal everyday activities of the Customer Service Specialist 2:
Resolve client/customer service problems, complaints and inquires.
Serve as a liaison between clients/customers and agency.
Problem guidance and assistant to clients/customers in applying for benefits and services, to include assisting them with complying and submitting documentation used in determining program eligibility.
Refer and direct clients and the public to appropriate agency/staff for the determination of benefits.
Review all applications which are processed through Barcode for expedited services. Record date of receipt, record/verify client ID – check Barcode to determine if client is already on services.
If not, assign document to appropriate Financial Worker.
Gather, resolve, and record HCS client’s demographic information and type of services for which the client is applying for, to include accuracy of client and household information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute; must be willing and able to pass a proficiency typing test administered by Department of Personnel and obtain a qualifying certificate.
AND
6 months of experience working in a high production unit with scanning and imaging experience
AND
Operate 10 key by touch
Plus one of the following:
An Associate’s degree AND two years of experience providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems
OR
Bachelor’s degree
OR

Our Quality Assurance Nurse Manager oversees and supervises the Quality Assurance (QA)
Unit in RCS which consists of four Social & Health Program Consultant- 4s and a Management

This unit serves as the primary technical quality control for the implementation of consistent inspection, survey, and complaint investigation practices which meet federal and state regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for analyzing and assessing policies and processes that drive regulatory requirements within licensed and certified long term care settings. You will also be responsible for determining methods and audit processes that ensure survey and complaint protocols are followed throughout the division, and there is an effective system in place to audit and institute performance improvement plans when standards are not met. The Quality Assurance Nurse Manager assures that the unit establishes both quantitative and qualitative approaches to gathering and generating measurements and indicators to determine areas of progress, and deficiency within RCS standards of practice. As the subject matter expert in quality assurance and quality control measures, you will serve as a consultant and advisor to the RCS management team to include the Director, Assistant Director, Office Chiefs, and District Administrators related to compliance with performance expectations, and consistent application of standards of practice across the division. The unit’s scope of work is statewide, and directly impacts 16 RCS field units and approximately 3500 licensed and certified long term care settings. This is a key position in ensuring that the Department meets, in the most efficient and effective manner, state and federal performance standards.
As the Quality Assurance Nurse Manager you will ensure that the Department delivers services that meet federal and state performance standards for funding purposes and meets the mission related to promoting and protecting the rights, security and well-being of individuals living in licensed or certified residential settings. You will have statewide responsibility for planning, managing and supervising complex accountability, oversight initiatives and methods of internal review related to identifying quality improvement processes for RCS. Using advance level expertise you will develop corrective measures and action plants to improve HQ and field staff’s consistency and proficiency in licensing, survey and complaint activities. The Quality Assurance Nurse Manager coordinates closely with the RCS management team (Division
Director, Assistant Director and Office Chiefs) and other RCS staff including, the training staff, the field, and other review, oversight and accountability staff. Possessing specialized knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience, you will provide consultation and coordination of quality management strategies, training resources, and project outcomes/information with internal and external customers.
