Position: HEAD SOCCER REFEREE
Salary: $11.68 - $13.70 per hour DOE

Brannan Park, 611 20th St NE, Auburn
PRIMARY DUTIES Responsible for training and providing on-site supervision of youth soccer referees and
assistant referees.
Must be able to work Fridays, 5:30-10:00 pm and Saturdays, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, and occasional Monday-Friday 5:30-9:30 pm for meetings and training, September 1 - November 9, 2015.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have an excellent understanding of soccer,
• Ability to interact well with volunteer coaches and youth players.
• Previous soccer referee or head soccer referee experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

POSITION DETAILS:
Position: Recreation Assistants & Recreation Leaders
Birthday Party Packages and Parents Night Out Location: The Gym at Les Gove Park, 910 9th St SE, Auburn
Temporary employees are not eligible to receive City benefits such as paid leave or health insurance coverage
PRIMARY DUTIES Recreation Assistant: The employee is responsible for assisting children ages
4-12 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts and free play in a birthday party setting and Parent’s Night Out program. Assist in set up and take down of the program.
Recreation Leader I: The employee is reponsible for leading children ages 4-12 in group activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts and free play in a birthday party setting and Parent’s Night Out program. Lead in the set up and take down of the program.
Recreation Leader II: The employee is responsible for planning, organizing and
on site leadership of the birthday party packages and Parent’s Night Out program for children ages 4-12.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recreation Assistant: Must be at least 16 years old. Must have current First Aid
and CPR certification and pass a background check.
Recreation Leader I & II: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have current First
Aid and CPR certification and pass a background check.
Must enjoy working with youth and be able to work well with other program staff.
Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

Teen Late Night Program (7-10 hours per Late Night)
Locations: Auburn High School, Auburn Riverside High School
PRIMARY DUTIES Recreation Assistant: The employee is responsible for leading group activities in the
Teen Late Night program offered two Saturday nights a month and for Auburn's youth. Evening weekend work is required.
The employee must be able to follow specific lesson plans and/or program instructions. Must enjoy working with youth and be able to work well with other program staff.
Recreation Leader I: The employee is responsible for assisting in the planning and
on-site leadership in the Teen Late Night program
offered two Saturday nights a month for Auburn's youth. Evening weekend work is required.
The employee must be able to oversee, organize and lead youth ages 11-18, in a variety of arts and crafts, recreation, leadership, study skills, games and activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recreation Assistant:
• Must be at least 16 years old
• No driving required Recreation Leader I:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A current abstract of your driving record must be included with your application. You can obtain your driving record from the Department of Licensing www.dol.wa.gov
• First Aid, CPR and Food Handler's Permit must be obtained within 15 days of employment.
